Chapel Museum Our lady of Loreto

Was built in the time of the missions and it preserves important features of the colonial era. The Virgin of Loreto Chapel, was reconditioned to become the smallest museum on the entire Jesuit Route. The image of the Virgen de la Piedad was carved by the Guarani with more indigenous features.

The Italian Jesuit priest, José Brasanelli (1659-1728) was the one who built the Church of Loreto, whose altar had ten statues with four side altarpieces, thus leaving works of great significance.

The place has fragments of the Old Church, but the most striking thing are the still original fresco paintings that date from the time, the structure and the ceiling, which is an original starry sky, so that when you enter there you have the certainty feeling of being in the house of God.
