Museo de Itaipú de la Tierra Guaraní
El Museo de la Tierra Guaraní rescata los 10.000 años de ocupación y cultura guaraní en la margen paraguaya de Itaipú. Forma parte del circuito Turístico, ambiental y Científico de la represa, y proyecta internacionalmente la mayor colección arqueológica de los años de poblamiento del área de influencia del embalse. Contiene una cuidadosa selección de muestras científicas de fauna, flora y minerales de la región que fueron colectadas desde el inicio de la construcción de la Central Hidroeléctrica. En los micro-cines, el visitante podrá descubrir aquel Paraguay profundo de la vida rural, así como el rostro contemporáneo de un país vital que palpita en la mirada de sus principales cineastas.
Es un paseo por el río Paraná a través del tiempo y su naturaleza, El Museo ITAIPU- Tierra Guaraní, expresa el interés de ITAIPU Binacional en mantener viva la memoria de la cultura regional, para las generaciones presentes y futuras.
Itaipu Museum of the Guaraní Land
The Museum of the Guaraní Land rescues the 10,000 years of Guaraní occupation and culture on the Paraguayan margin of Itaipú. It is part of the Dam’s Tourist, Environmental and Scientific circuit, and internationally projects the largest archaeological collection from the years of settlement of the reservoir’s area of influence. It contains a careful selection of scientific samples of fauna, flora and minerals of the region that were collected since the beginning of the construction of the Hydroelectric Power Plant. In the micro-cinemas, the visitor will be able to discover that deep Paraguay of rural life, as well as the contemporary face of a vital country that beats in the eyes of its main filmmakers.
